We have always sought out ways to empower andstrengthen individuals, families, and communities. In 1820, only 12% of thepeople in the world could read and write. Today, those numbers havereversed and it is estimated that only 14% of the world population haveremained illiterate.
We believe everyone has theright to a safe home to love, prosper, and thrive in. That is whywe support Habitat for Humanity, specifically Flower City Habitat for Humanityin Rochester, New York. Their belief is that everyone deserves the right for adecent place to live and they do so by inviting families, volunteers anddonors together to build homes.
Interms of opportunity, we feel everyone should have access to education. When our team first discovered "Pencils of Promise" we believed theirvalues aligned with ours, making this organization a great fit tocontribute to.
